Clinton Stone
ELDER

Clinton is married to Karen and they have three children. Clinton is a Mechanical Engineer by profession and worked in engineering in Pretoria for 14 years before sensing God’s call into full-time pastoral ministry. He and his family moved to London in 2008 where he studied Theology at London Seminary, before returning to South Africa to commence pastoral ministry at the Mooi River Baptist Church in 2011. Clinton started as the Senior Pastor of Honeyridge Baptist Church in January 2019. He enjoys the outdoors and hiking with his family, and the occasional dabbling in programming and electronics to keep his engineering genes alive.

Shayne de Lange
ELDER

Shayne is married to Bronwyn, and they have two daughters. Shayne worked as a graphic designer before entering into full time ministry. He is a graduate of the Baptist Theological College and has served in churches in Johannesburg and Centurion. Shayne enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and the Karoo. 

Kyle Tamblyn
ELDER

Kyle is married to Amy. Kyle grew up in Honeyridge and has served in various ministries, focusing on youth since 2011. Kyle worked as a youth intern while at Bible college and as the Pastoral Assistant from 2020. Kyle was called as the Youth Pastor in 2021. Kyle’s fun-time is spent with Amy, his children and their golden retrievers or on the golf course. 

Harold Twine
ELDER

Harold is 76 years of age and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour when he was 12 years old. He has been married to Daphne for 52 years and they have two married sons. He and Daphne started attending Honeyridge in 1982. In the past Harold has served as a Deacon and an Elder. In 1992 he was appointed Pastor of Administration, Care & Missions until his retirement in 2019, when he stood down from the Eldership. For the past 4 years Harold has served in a part-time capacity in the area of Care and Visitation. 

Bryan Munro
ELDER

Bryan accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour when he was 23 years old. He is married to Sue fthey have two daughters.
Bryan and Sue started attending Honeyridge in 1989. Bryan completed his pastoral care studies at BTC before being involved with Phoenix House for a number years. He has a heart for missions.
Bryan has previously served at Honeyridge as an Elder, currently leads a small group and has served in worship teams for a number of years.

Clifford Marshall
ELDER

Cliff is married to Bronwyn and they have a son and daughter. Cliff came to Christ at age 5 and rededicated his life to Christ at a Scripture Union camp at age 12. He has been in leadership in the church for many years and currently leads a Small Group, is a Worship Leader and chairs the Worship Committee. His main areas of giftedness are in the areas of teaching and leading.

Gary Govender
ELDER

Gary committed his life to Christ at the age of 16. He married Neeroshini in 2011 and they have one son. They have attended Honeyridge since January 2013 and were taken into membership in July 2017.  Gary has served in the worship ministry since 2017 and took on the role of worship leader in January 2019. He is also involved with co-leading Bible studies, and also serves as a member of the Honeyridge Worship Committee.

Kevin de Longchamps
ELDER

Kevin is married to Gwen and they have two grown children, a daughter and a son. Kevin committed his life to Christ at the age of 11 and was baptised as a teenager at the Edenvale Baptist Church. Kevin and his family began attending the Honeyridge Baptist Church in the early 1990’s with he and Gwen becoming members in 1993. Kevin has previously served as a Deacon, an Elder and on several committees. He is currently involved in the sound ministry and various aspects of the men’s ministry. 

Nick Gibbs
ELDER

Nick is 42 years old and has been married to Pam for 16 years. They have 3 children: Luke, Joel and Joshua.

Nick trusted and committed his life to Christ when he was about 10 years old and was baptised at Honeyridge when he was 19. Nick & Pam have been Honeyridge members for about 16 years.

Nick served as a deacon and has been a worship leader and small group leader for many years. He has previously served in the Holiday Club, youth and young-adult ministries.

Stephen Smith
ELDER

Stephen has been married to Margie. They have three adult children, two of whom are married.
Stephen gave his life to the Lord at an early age. He is passionate about the potential of each of us to be the workmen that God has designed us to be, being part of God's plan in the local church. He has a specific emphasis on prayer and discipleship. He and Margie co-ordinate our marriage ministry.
