Employment Support Group
Sun, 2007/02/25 - 14:42 — webmasterThe Employment Support Group meets on the last Monday of the month at 19:30 in the main foyer of the church. The purpose of the group is to provide support and encouragement to both young and old who have been retrenched or who are facing retrenchment, or who are embarking on a voluntary career change. Those attending the group are either looking for employment or come in a support capacity, offering expertise in different areas.
Small Groups
Sun, 2007/02/25 - 13:56 — webmasterActs 2 tells us that the early church met corporately in the temple and in smaller groups, from house to house. Formal and informal gatherings are essential for the life of any church and any Christian. “Small groups” (i.e. cell groups, etc.) are not a new idea. They have always played a vital role in how God grows His people to maturity in Christ. Two key verses summarise why we are so passionate about small groups at Honeyridge.
Heb 3:13, “But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.”
